Ok, I’ve spent a few months here in Valencia, and here is my honest consensus: Spanish food is not that great. If you are a lover of vegetables, color, and bursting flavors this cuisine isn’t going to satisfy your taste buds. But I couldn’t give up on my quest for cultural gastronomic experiences. Using Las Fallas as the perfect excuse to celebrate with food, I went out searching for a Valencian meal refusing to settle for bocadillos or banal tapas.
